Lisa Sue Allard

Lisa Sue Allard, age 62, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 12:15 pm on Friday October 27, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne.  Born on April 26, 1961, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Calvin L. and Kathleen (McCormick) Fromm.

Lisa attended Paul Harding High School and went on to earn her GED.  She worked as a solderer at Ultra Maritime-USSI, Columbia City.  On November 25, 1994 she married Walter R. Allard, III in Churubusco.

Lisa enjoyed crafting, gardening flowers and tomatoes, singing karoke, collecting elephants and crosses, and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and dog Levi.

Survivors include her husband Walter R. Allard, III of Columbia City; children Robert D. (Shawn) Love, Jr. and Michael W. (Melany) Love, both of Columbia City, Laura E. Schrader and Jordan C. (Kae) Allard, both of Fort Wayne, and Walter R. Allard, IV of Columbia City; 14 grandchildren; 7 siblings; mother-in-law Jenny Allard of Columbia City, along with all other hearts and friendships collected.

She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Kathleen Fromm, foster parents Lester and Lorelee Sherman, 3 siblings, father-in-law Walter R. Allard, Jr. and Elizabeth “Liz” Rowe, to whom Lisa was a Guardian.

Friends may call on Tuesday October 31, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Funeral services for Lisa will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday November 1, 2023, at the funeral home, where you are invited to wear blue in honor of her favorite color.
