Margaret R. "Peggy" Gage

Margaret R. “Peggy” Gage, age 78, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 4:05 am on Monday October 31, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.  Born on September 24, 1944, in Three Rivers, MI, she was the daughter of Franklin and Mary (Cekander) Keith.

Peggy attended Three Rivers High School and graduated with the Class of 1963.  She worked as an assembler for Reel-Craft, Columbia City.  Peggy was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Post #2303, Three Rivers.  She enjoyed horses, helping others, riding motorcycles, playing cards, pool, and air hockey with her grandchildren, and her two dogs.  Peggy also loved having a coffee on her deck watching sunrise and sunset.

Survivors include her companion of many years Gary Jagger; children Stacey (Todd) Ames of Nottawa, MI and Thad Gage of Three Rivers, MI; grandchildren Zach, Jade, Fisher, Kerrigan, and Beryl; siblings Susie (Jack) Hensell of Constantine, MI and Tom Keith of Three Rivers, MI; best friend Myrna Raifsnider of Coopersville, MI; many nieces and nephews; and her two dogs Bud and Bob.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Pat Eastes, and brothers Bud and Danny Keith.

Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday November 7, 2022, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, where friends may call two hours prior to service.

Burial will take place in Peek Cemetery, Constantine, MI.
