Ashley Morgan Storm, age 19, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 1:05 p.m. as the result of a motorcycle accident Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.Born March 16, 1993 in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of Todd Alan and Kimberly Ann (Kruse) Storm.
She attended Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School through 6th grade, Carroll Middle School and graduated a few weeks ago from Columbia City High School with the Class of 2012. She recently had been accepted at St. Francis University, Fort Wayne, to study radiology. She worked as a manager at Portside Pizza, Albion, and for four years she worked as a cook at the Magic Wand, Churubusco.
Survivors include her parents, Todd and Kimberly Storm; brother, Tyler Storm and sister, Danielle Storm all of Columbia City; grandparents, Patricia and Stan Kruse of Fort Wayne; Mike and Sharon Cherry of Rutledge, TN and Larry Storm of Indianapolis; great-grandparents, Lester (Opal) Dalrymple of Connersville, and Edna Kruse of Fort Wayne.Aunts and uncles surviving are Rod (Darcy) Storm of Greenville, SC, Abigail (James) Storm of Paragon, Kathy (Jim) Reid of Huntertown, and Kenneth Kruse of Fort Wayne.Ashley also leaves behind a number of cousins and extended family members. Ashley was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Ed Kruse, Maxine and Irvin VanAllen and Ruth Storm.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service is Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. with calling two hours prior to service at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W California Road, Fort Wayne. Pastor Bill Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
