Carl J. Lutomski

Carl J. Lutomski, 52, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at Ascension St. John's Hospital in St. Clair Shores. Born July 24, 1970 in Trenton, Michigan, he was the son of Arnold J. Lutomski and Ruth C. (Felger) Rivard.

He graduated from Clintondale High School with the Class of 1988. Carl worked as a Mill Right for the past 15 years at Workblades. Carl was gifted with a photographic memory and  was a bookworm. He was quick at reading and could easily make split second decisions that even saved another person's life. He enjoyed science, the solar system, nature, and being involved with Renaissance reenactments in Rochester, Michigan. He also had a large LEGO and Dungeons and Dragons collection and was a competitive computer gamer.

Carl is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruth and Phillip Rivard of Columbia City, Indiana; step-sister, Dawn Lowe' and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Lutomski in 1985 and an uncle, Irvin Felger.

Funeral services will be at 6:30 pm Friday, March 31, 2023 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, Indiana with visitation beginning at 4:30 pm. Pastor Matt Converse will be officiating. He will be laid to rest at Union Township Cemetery at a later time.
