Carter Lee Evans, eight days old, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. Born on January 24, 2010 in Fort Wayne, IN he is the beloved son of Robert J. and Shannon Marie (Mills) Evans of Columbia City.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Maddison M. Evans and a brother, Cameron J. Evans both of Columbia City; grandparents, Rick and Tammy Mills of Larwill, IN, Robert and Barbara Evans, Columbia City; great-grandparents, LaVan and Barb Mills of Montpelier, IN, Frank and Pauline Rice, Upland, IN and Ruth Sitton, Arcola, IN. A sister, Kathryn Marie Evans, preceded him in death on May 18, 2002.Funeral service is 2 p.m. with one hour of calling prior to service on Monday, February 8, 2010 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN.
