Christopher M. HIll

Christopher M. Hill, age 45, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 11:26 pm on Friday November 22, 2024, at his residence. Born on August 11, 1979, in Crawfordsville, IN, he was the son of Michael and Martha (Mitchum) Hill.

Chris attended Brandon High School, Brandon, Florida and graduated with the Class of 1997. He then earned his degree from the University of Florida

He worked for AdvaCare delivering medical equipment for six months before joining Mediacom, where he most recently worked as a Broadband Specialist for seven years.

Chris was an avid sports fan and a diehard Florida Gator. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife Kimberly Austin of Columbia City; children Mikaela (Jackson Gilbert) Austin and Logan ( Alyx Johnston) Austin, both of Columbia City; father Michael Hill of Aylett, VA; siblings Lyndsey (Chris Whitmore) Hill of Cleveland, OH, Justin (Mackenzie) Hill of Columbia, MO, and Tyler (Lauren Hinton) Hill of Naples, FL; niece Omi, and nephew Nasir; beloved four-legged friends Pebbles (Goofy Shoes), Thor, and Mr. Bean.

He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Hill.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday November 26, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 pm at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Memorial contributions in memory of Christopher may be made to DeMoney Grimes towards final expenses.
