Debra Bell Gray, age 43, of South Whitley, IN died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. Born on June 24, 1964 in Fort Wayne, IN she was the daughter of Richard Dean and Sharon (Gause) Languell.
She attended East Noble School System. On October 21, 1989, she was united in marriage to Danny Joe Gray at Hope Lutheran Church in Columbia City. She was a housewife and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Danny J. Gray of South Whitley; mother, Sharon K. (David) Kienzler of Columbia City; mother-in-law, Lillian A. Ness of Columbia City; sisters, Twila (Mike) Barnes of New Haven, IN, Penny (Jay) Woebbeking of St. Joe, IN, and Lisa Languell of Columbia City;step-sister, Linda McCoy of Churubusco, IN, step-brother, Mark Kienzler who is serving in the US Army; brother-in-law, Kevin (Tanya) Gray of Columbia City; 5 nieces, Melissa (Tim) Moss of Churubusco,Tiffany and Kaylin Yagel of Columbia City, Haley Terry of Kendalville, IN, Hollie Barnes of New Haven, IN; and foster-parents, Allen and Karen Engle, Merriam, IN. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Elisha and Gertrude Gause, her father-in-law, Donald W. Ness and a niece, Jenny Brumbaugh.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the funeral home with Reverend Judy Follis of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Lutheran (Union Township) Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorial bequests may be given to the family.
