DOLORES V. TRAMMEL

May 3, 1917 — December 3, 2012

Dolores V. Trammel, age 95, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.Born May 3, 1917 in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of Roudolph J. and Gertrude A. (Jordan) Harpel.

She attended the Fort Wayne School system. She married Lauren Trammel in Fort Wayne. An Allen County resident until the 1960's, she moved to Rome City, Noble County, and recently moved to Whitley County to live with her children.She retired from Tokheim Corp., Albion. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Albion.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Carl) Robinson of Decatur and Gloria (Clarence "Bud") Dean of Columbia City; sons, Duane (Bev) Trammel of Rome City and Larry (Karen) Trammel of Oregon: 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Sharon Trammel of Fort Wayne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lauren Trammel and brothers, Raymond, Jack and Wayne Harpel.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Avilla. Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Trammel to the family.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Please visit www.demoneygrimes.com to send family condolences or sign the guest register book.
