Donna Weinberg

Donna J. Weinberg, age 61, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 8:57 am on Monday January 11, 2021 at her residence. Born on June 1, 1959 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Ruth (Colpetzer) Hyser, Sr.

Donna was raised in Collins and attended Churubusco High School.  She graduated with the Class of 1978, then furthered her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Donna worked at several facilities locally for over 20 years.  On October 9, 1992 she married Paul Weinberg in Collins.

Donna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending her free time with family.

Survivors include her husband Paul Weinberg; sons Matthew (Amber Keister) Patee and Michael (Ashley) Patee; step-daughter Paula Flores and Melissa Sitts; grandchildren Showlyn, Christian, Destiny, Kyler, and Jeremy Patee; step-grandchildren Brianna Knight and Maggie Keister; siblings Teresa (Richard) Earhart, Terry (Myrna) Hyser, Ken (Donna) Hyser, and Tim Hyser; sister-in-law Torri Hyser; 8 nephews; 4 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Rodney Hyser, infant niece Katie Hyser, and nephew Brian Hyser.

Friends may call from 3-5 pm on Friday January 15, 2021, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. With the current Executive Order, face masks are required for attendance.
