Ella M. Scott

Ella M. Scott, age 67 of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 6:19 am on Wednesday June 23, 2021, at her residence.  Born on January 14, 1954, in Welsh, WV, she was the daughter of Norman and Virginia (Russell) Mills.

Ella attended West Noble High School.  She worked as a waitress and in factories before becoming a mobile home park manager, where she strived diligently to main the integrity of each park.

Ella enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in addition to fishing, singing and listening to music.

Survivors include her children Robert (Shannon) Scott, Jr. of Columbia City and Jennifer (Cannie) Scott of Cromwell; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Norma (John) Firestone of Avon Park, FL, Linda Trenshaw of Goshen, and Bill Mills of Ligonier.

She was preceded in death by her parents and companion Devert Jacobs.

Friends may call on Sunday June 27, 2021, from 12:00-3:00 pm at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Memorial donations may be given in memory to final expenses.
