FLORENCE LEORA FETTERS

Florence Leora Fetters, age 93, of Kimmell, IN passed away at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.Born on February 12, 1920 in Aldridge, Al, she was the daughter of James C. and Florence L. (Jones) Key.

She was born and raised in Alabama and in 1962 moved to Indiana.On August 29, 1962, she married Robert S. Fetters. She and her late husband lived on a 94 acre farm in Washington Township, Noble County. She was a homemaker and also employed as a factory worker in the 60's and 70's for Brunswick Boat Company, Warsaw until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Dwight David Kimbrell of Cromwell, Gary Joe (Vicky) Kimbrell of Columbia City and Phillip Ray Fetters of Cromwell; grandson, Bryan Searfoss of Canada; granddaughter, Amanda Ream of Columbia City; great grandchildren, Shona Lee Searfoss and Brenna Sue both of Milford, Brandon Searfoss of Warsaw, Madison, Blake and Collin Ream all of Columbia City; brothers and sisters, Doris Robinson of Jasper, AL; J.B. Key of Parrish, AL; Bois M. Key of Parrish, AL; Walter H. Key of Birmingham, AL; Edna Sue Bucholsky of Bell Gardens, CA; Bobby Lee Key of Parrish, AL; Billie Ruth Green of Sale Creek, TN and Wilson Key. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert S. Fetters, sisters, Betty J. Gurganus and Mary A. Johnston.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
