Gage Samual Wildey, 23, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Columbia City. Born December 10, 1993 in Huntington, he was the son of Nathan Wildey and Stacy (Lock) Bailey.
He grew up in Columbia City and as a young boy, he enjoyed having fun with his brother and friends, fishing, being outdoors, reading and listening to music. He attended Columbia City High School and graduated in 2012. Gage loved spending time with his two daughters and family. He enjoyed collecting knives and guns with his dad and uncles, hanging out with friends, playing video games, riding dirt bikes, hunting. Gage volunteered at the Impact Food Center and had worked at Reelcraft, Holmes Lumber and Precision Plastics.
Survivors include his father, Nathan Wildey, of Columbia City; mother, Stacy (Terry) Bailey, of North Webster; daughters, Mercy and Evangelynn Wildey; brothers, Garrett and Logan Wildey; sisters, Gabrielle Jones and Samantha Wildey; grandparents, Norma Wildey, Craig E. Lock, Deb Riley; great-grandmother, Sharon Thompson. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles Wildey and great-grandparents, Paul and Marjorie Lock.
Visitation is 3-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will start at 7 p.m. Private burial will take place on Thursday at Nolt Cemetery.
