Gloria Jackson

Gloria Jean Jackson, age 86, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 4:20 am on Sunday October 4, 2020 at Majestic Care of West Allen, Fort Wayne.  Born on April 15, 1934 in Wolf Lake, IN, she was the daughter of Albert and Jenny (Johnson) Waltman.

Gloria attended Wolf Lake High School.  On April 15, 1950 she married Robert L. Jackson.  She was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness in 1956.  Gloria was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked for Essex Wire and was a product arrangement Team Leader at CVS for several years. In her free time, Gloria enjoyed being outdoors raising flowers and gardening.

Survivors include her children Robert G. Jackson of Larwill, Rebecca Marie (Robert) Payne of Clearwater, FL, Rick (Cindy) Jackson of Fort Wayne, Rodney (Sheila) Jackson and Ryan Jackson, both of Columbia City; several grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 half-brothers of LaPorte.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert L. Jackson.

A private family service for Gloria will be held at a later date.
