Grace L. Gracie Crabill, age 90, of 5405 N Oak Drive, Columbia City (Goose Lake), IN 46725, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, IN. She was born near Monroeville, IN on September 17, 1916 to Adolf and Emma Jane (Geradot) Wagner.

She attended high school in the Monroeville area. In 1963, she married Robert B. Crabill in Southern Indiana and worked as a homemaker raising her three children.

Survivors include 1 son, Lester R. (Velma) Daugherty, Columbia City (Goose lake), IN; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mary Baker, Monroeville, IN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Emma J. Wagner; husband, Robert B. Crabill in February of 1981; 2 daughters, Norma Jean Johnson and Joyce A. Masierak; a granddaughter, Michelle Johnson; 5 brothers, Edgar, Walt, Elmer, Lloyd, and Clifford Wagner; and 2 sisters, Agnes L. Brown and Flossie Daugherty.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Jerry Ramsey, a friend of the family, will officiate. Burial will follow at Monroeville Cemetery, Monroeville, IN. Memorial bequests may be given in Mrs. Crabills memory to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
