Hallie Kay Girton, 59, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Parkview Whitley Hospital. Born on August 20, 1955 in Batesville, she was the daughter of Buford and Bobbie Jean (Sizemore) Moore.
She lived most of her life in Fort Wayne until 2005 and then moved to Columbia City. Her first job was at the A Root Beer Stand on Goshen Road in the early 70's and then worked for over 10 years at Cintas Uniforms. She loved camping, playing bingo, and spending time with her children and grandkids.
Survivors include her children, Raelane (Dharmesh) Patel of Fort Wayne, Brenda (Chris) Breidinger of Churubusco and Bob (Jen) Girton of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; companion of eight years, Tim Hyser of Columbia City; and her two pugs, T.J. and Buddy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday 10 to noon at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W California Rd, Fort Wayne.Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, at the church with Pastor Bill Mueller officiating.Private burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
