Isabella F. Hosler

August 23, 1915 — March 2, 2015

Isabella F. Hosler, 99, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away at 6:50 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Miller's at Oak Pointe in Columbia City. Born August 23, 1915 in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Jess C. and Hazel Mae (Snyder) Nichols.

She attended Jefferson Center High School and graduatedfrom LaSalle University in Chicago.She was a homemaker and a former employee of the Jefferson Center School. She was a member of Laud Christian Church and its Christian Womens' Fellowship and Bethel Rebekah Lodge at Laud.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen W. (Cheryl) Hollenbaugh of Columbia City; Ed J. (Sharon) Hollenbaugh of Columbia City; sister, Pat Harshman of Marion, KY; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Garland Hollenbaugh; second husband, Lester V. Hosler; step-daughter, Jerry Lou Reimer; stillborn son in 1938; step-granddaughter, Charlotte Alisa Reimer; sister, Evelyn Hockemeyer; brothers, Calvin, Dorsan, Richard and Jay Nichols; and infant brother, Rex Nichols.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with a visitation two hours prior. Pastor James Clifford officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her first husband at Union Cemetery in Jackson Township of Huntington County. Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Hosler's memory to Laud Christian Church.
