James E. Fancil, age 69, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at his residence.Born on January 6, 1943 in Warsaw, he was the son of Maurice J. and Helen (Hively) Fancil.
He lived in Warsaw, Pierceton and Fort Wayne. He attended Warsaw High School and worked for 20 years for Seyfert Potato Chips, Fort Wayne, as the Maintenance Director.
Survivors include his son, Tony (Mary) Fancil of Grove City, OH; daughter, Tina M. Stewart of Fort Wayne; significant other, Marlene Kuehn, Fort Wayne; 2 brothers, Butch (Carol) Fancil of Largo, FL and Donald (Nancy) Fancil of Fort Wayne; 1 sister, Janice (Gene) Fisher of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Starla Quinn and 2 sisters, Patricia Horn and Peggy McClain.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with Funeral Celebrant, Sharon Brockhaus, officiating. Memorial gifts may be given in Mr. Fancil's memory to the final expense account in care of DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home.
