Janet Sue Patterson

Janet Sue Patterson, 77, of Columbia City, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at The Waters of Columbia City. Born November 1, 1947, in Columbia City, Indiana she was a daughter of Jess and Madge (Sharp) Mathias. 

She graduated from Larwill High School with the Class of 1966. Sue was in janitorial work and manufacturing for a number of years. She was a member of New Hope Wesleyan Church. 

Sue loved to sit on her swing, looking at her flowers and bird watch. Her family was a great joy to her. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her children and grandchildren. 

Sue is survived by her husband, Robert Patterson; children, Shelia Jackson, Paul Ramp, Josh (Jennifer) Reister; stepdaughter, Vicki Brock; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents Sue is preceded in death by her sister, Karen (Ronnie) Wolf; and stepson, Robbie Patterson.

Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with Funeral Service at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2025, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
