Janice Kay Andrews, 68, of Larwill, Ind., passed away at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her home. Born June 6, 1948 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Roscoe Francis Bud and Alice Ruth (Gaff) Parker.
She graduated from Larwill High School with the Class of 1966. On August 30, 1969, Janice married Gene Andrews at the Columbia City United Methodist Church. She moved to Larwill in 1977 after living at Goose Lake and Columbia City. In 1998, she retired after 30 years of working at Dana Weatherhead. She was a member of Christs Covenant Church and the Pioneer Club.
Survivors include her mother, Alice Parker, of Larwill; brothers, Thomas (Jan) Parker, of Pierceton, William Bill (Bonnie Hare) Parker, of Columbia City and Jack (Jane) Parker, of Warsaw; sister, Sharon (Gary) Gohlke, of Carson City, Nev.; half-brother, Richard Parker, of Fort Wayne; half-sister, Joan Korn, of Albion; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bud Parker; husband, Gene Andrews; brothers, Robert Wayne Parker, John Parker and Alan Dixon.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday, at Christs Covenant Church, 2090 E Pierceton Rd, Winona Lake, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Rod Valentine will be officiating. Following her service, Janice will be laid to rest beside her husband at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam. Memorial gifts may be given in her memory to her church. Visit
