Jeffry P. Hurley

Jeffry P. Hurley, 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at home. Born December 15, 1960, in Columbia City, Indiana, he was a son of the late Theodore "Phil" and Theodora "Fig" (Trimmer) Hurley. 

He attended Thorncreek Elementary School and Columbia City Joint High School. On December 18, 2015, he married Karen Hullinger. Jeff grew up on the family farm and continued farming most of his life. As a teen he was involved in motocross. Jeff loved animals and was involved in 4H when he was younger. He also enjoyed gem hunting. 

Jeff is survived by his wife, Karen L. Hurley; siblings, David (Julia) Hurley, Ted (Kay) Hurley, Linda Pettigrew, and Joan Western; sister-in-law, Linda Salsbury; mother-in-law, Sharon Phipps; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Terry Pettigrew and Jim Western; and father-in-law, William Hullinger.
