Jerry L. Zent

Jerry L. Zent, age 77, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Thursday July14, 2016 at Kendallville Manor, Kendallville. Born on August 1, 1938 in Noble County, he was the son of Howard and Eloise (Miles) Zent.

Jerry was a lifetime Whitley County resident. He attended local schools and graduated from Wolf Lake High School with the Class of 1956. Jerry was a truck driver for Bader Trucking in Fort Wayne for many years and also for Jasper Trucking in Merriam, where he retired from in 2001.

Survivors include his children Kevin Zent of TN, Nanette Parkison of Larwill, Gary Zent of Ligionier, Jon Zent of FL, Mary Leslie of Columbia City, Sara Stahl of Fort Wayne, Eric Zent of FL, Heather Zent of Leo, and Angel Conley of Wolcottville; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Randy Zent.

In accordance with Jerrys wishes there will be no calling or services at this time. Memorial contributions in memory of Jerry may be made to Kendallville Manor.
