JESSIE LEETTA WAGNER

April 4, 1920 — December 15, 2011

J. LeEtta Wagner, age 91, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor Inc., Columbia City.Born on April 4, 1920 in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Lester and Ethel (Hollenbaugh) Brock.

She grew up in Whitley County and Oregon. She attended Laud School and graduated from Jefferson Center High School with the Class of 1938. After her marriage to Raymond LaVern Wagner on June 14, 1941 in Jefferson Township they lived in Allen County for 14 years.In 1956 they moved to Whitley County where she has resided until moving into Columbia City. She first worked at Weatherhead Company and then for the Allen County Co-Op as secretary for 28 years.She retired in 1985 and then continued to work at the Co-Op on a part time basis until 1995.She was a member of Dunfee Missionary Church and the Missionary Women's International Organization.

Survivors include her children, Michael Steven Wagner, Nancy Caroline (Sam) Overton and 1 brother, Robert (June) Brock all of Columbia City.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond LaVern Wagner and sister, Doris Jean Brock.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2-6:00 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Rowe of Dunfee Missionary Church and Reverend JerryBlanchard officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Chapel (Sand Bank) Cemetery.Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Wagner's memory to Dunfee Missionary Church or Whitley County Youth for Christ.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Please visit www.demoneygrimes.com to send family condolences or sign the guest register book.
