Judy Hovenden

Judith Hovenden, age 59, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home with family by her side. Born October 12, 1961 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, she was the daughter of Russell Willard Wells and Mildred Marie (Phipps) Wells.

Judy had held numerous jobs, but her favorite and most rewarding job was being a mother and grandmother. She adored her four grandchildren. She found relaxation in tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. Judy enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, crocheting, drawing, listening to music and watching Bewitched or any classic movie.

Judy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Wade Frantz; son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Jessica Irons; grandchildren, Jazimine, Damion, Lilly and Ryker; and step-mother, Gladys Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Charles "Chuck" O'Conner; and brothers, Kenneth "Kenny" Wells and Russell "Rusty" Wells.
