Kevin W. Coffelt

Kevin W. Coffelt, 56, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 20, 2022 at his home. Born August 3, 1965 in Columbia City, he was the son of Dale Coffelt Sr.and Barbara (Orr) Boyd.

He graduated from Columbia City Joint  High School with the Class of  1984. Kevin had worked for Farmers Green of Maxwell for over 10 years and recently moved back to Columbia City from Maxwell. Kevin enjoyed being around others but found relaxation sitting outside listening to the crickets. He loved hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Barbara Boyd; daughters, Cathleen Mathena and Sara Townsend; grandmother, Nadine Orr; brothers, Dale Coffelt, Jr and Roger Coffelt; sister, Abby (Jody) Wigent; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death father, Dale Coffelt, Sr.

Private family services will be held for Kevin. Memorial donations may be given in memory to the Humane Society of Whitley County or toward his funeral expenses, in care of DeMoney-Grimes.
