Larry Lynn Frazier, age 65, of Churubusco, IN died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, IN. Born on January 19, 1942 at Frazier Road, Allen County, IN, he was the son of Dorwin Eugene and Donabelle (Leitch) Frazier.
He graduated from Arcola High School with the Class of 1960 where he ran Cross Country, played basketball and was a FFA member. He was a 10 year Allen County 4-H member and he attended Purdue University for 3 years. On September 19, 1983, he married Suzanne Crabill-Bangs in Whitley County, IN. A self-employed farmer since the early 1970s, he worked at Montgomery Ward Warehouse, UPS in Fort Wayne, IN for 10 years and McLean Trucking, Fort Wayne, IN. He was a member of First Eel River Baptist Church, Churubusco, IN where he was a former Deacon. In his spare time, he was an avid fan of cars, Elvis Presley, Purdue sports and playing cards with his poker group. He loved spending time with his grandchildren making memories sharing in hayrides, Easter egg hunts and Halloween.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Frazier of Churubusco, IN; children, Tammera Lynnette Tammy (David) Karr of LaOtto, IN; Trinna Marie (Ty) Keener of Churubusco,IN; Timothy Lee (Susan) Frazier of Fort Wayne, IN; Trisha Lynne (Randal) Hockemeyer of Decatur, IN; mother, Donabelle Frazier of Fort Wayne, IN; 13 grandchildren; 1 brother, Ronnie Lee (Sharon) Frazier of South Whitley, IN; 1 sister, Jeanne Kay (Ron) Unglaub of Flower Mound, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Dorwin Eugene Frazier and son, Terry Lynn Frazier.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2007 First Eel River Baptist Church, Carroll Road, Churubusco, IN with 1 hour of calling prior to service and Pastor Kerry Niman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, IN. Memorials may be given in memory of Mr. Frazier to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or First Eel River Baptist Church.
