Larry Lee Hull, age 65, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in Leesburg, IN, where he was found slumped over the wheel of his truck. Born on February 25, 1944 in Garrett, IN he was the son of Keith A. and Dorma Jean (Stump) Hull. He grew up in the Columbia City and North Manchester areas graduating from North Manchester High School with the Class of 1962. He lived in various Indiana cities including Roanoke, Waynedale, Ossian, Cedar Lake and Warsaw also West Dundee, IL. On June 30, 1963 he was united in marriage to Barbara Jane Leedy in North Manchester, IN. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic for four years. He was a former employee of Controls Company of America, North Manchester, United Airlines, Fort Wayne International Airport, as a customer service agent for 13 years, and for 19 years with Chicago O'Hare International Airport retiring April 11, 1999. His memberships included AARP, John C. Peterson American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and Good Sam's Camping Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping.Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Hull of Warsaw; son, Ricky A. (Deborah J.) Hull of Valparaiso; daughter, Diann L. Hull of Towanda, PA; 6 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Richard D. (Norma) Hull of Garrett, Harry A. (Sandy) Hull, New Buffalo, MI, Ronald D. (Mary) Hull of Columbia City, Max McKinley of Butler, Paul Hull of West Cavena, CA; 2 sisters, Nancy Hull and Peggy (Charles) Dorwick of Milan, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Paul E. Hargrove and McClellen Lockard. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the funeral home with Sharon Brockhaus and Eddie Beagles, certified funeral celebrants, officiating. Graveside military honors will be presented by John C. Peterson American Legion Post 49, Warsaw, with burial to follow at Stough Cemetery, CR 50 West, rural Columbia City, IN. Memorials may be given in Mr. Hull's memory to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
