Larry Tinsley, Sr.

Larry J. Tinsley, Sr. age 80, of Columbia City, IN, went home to be with Jesus and his wife Barbara at 8:27 pm on Wednesday September 4, 2024, at his residence. Born on June 3, 1944, in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of William and Geneva (Stover) Tinsley.

Larry attended Huntington High School, Huntington, WV, and then worked as a well driller for over 20 years. During his retirement years, Larry was a handyman in his free time. Larry loved the Lord, enjoyed reading the Holy Bible, and sharing scripture with those he met along the way. He also liked getting a fresh cup of coffee and going to the library to read or to the park to get in some fresh air. He will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved Larry.

Survivors include his children Larry Tinsley, Jr., Rick Tinsley, John Tinsley, Tina Tinsley, Geneva Webb, and Patricia Snowden; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held for Larry.
