Linda Marie Perkins-Millberg, age 64, of Albion, passed away at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City. Born on June 24, 1945 in Hardburly, KY, she was the daughter of Harold and Mary (Begley) Perkins.She spent her childhood in Kentucky moving to Rome City, in 1963; a brief return to Kentucky in the 1970's; moving to Albion in 1976. She attended school in Kentucky and on June 24, 1983 she married Charles Michael Millberg at the Eagles Lodge in Columbia City. She retired from Union Products, Cromwell in 1997 after many years of service. In her spare time, she played on a co-ed softball league, loved spending time with her grandkids. Her hobbies included fishing, collecting dolls, bowling and computer work.Survivors include her husband, Charles Michael Millberg of Albion; 5 children, Mickie (Ronelle) Godsey of Syracuse, Maryruth (Terri Grycza) Godsey of Larwill, Michael Lee (Bambi Lehman) Millberg, Milford, Rebecca Ann (Rudolph Lee) Jacobs of Cromwell, and Jennifer Diane (Bryan) Dial of Albion; 14 grandchildren, Ashlyn, Asbury and Sky Jacobs, Jordan Millberg, Andria Millberg, Erika Dial, Brandie Godsey, Paige Millberg, Michael Jacobs, Dustin Godsey, Braxton Dial, Hunter Lehman, Dustin Maggert, Jason Maggert and Ron (Terri) Maggert; 5 great grandchildren, Kayle Godsey, Taton Godsey, Xaiver Godsey, Devon Warren and Caden Warren; 1 brother, Ray (Brenda) Ritchie of Rome City; 3 sisters, Ida (David) Hughes and Rema (Garrett) Hunter both of Hindman, KY; Jada (Shane) Tyler of Rome City, IN; 5 half brothers and sisters, A.J., Gary, Dally, Holly and Joyce; mother, Mary (Herbert) Conley of Wolcottville; mother-in-law, Helen Millberg of Fort Wayne; 3 sister-in-laws, Darlene (Leo) Backs and Christine Jones both of Fort Wayne; Joyce Jones of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Perkins and stepmother and step father, Elsie and Ben Ritchie.Visitation is Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant, Sharon Brockhaus, officiating. Burial will follow at Thorn Cemetery, Ormas.
