Marcus Allen Wolfe

November 30, 1996 — April 8, 2017

Marcus Allen Wolfe, 19, of South Whitley, was found on Saturday, April 8, 2017 after being missing on July 25, 2016. Born November 30, 1996 in Columbia City, he was the son of Larry Gene Wolfe and Tammy Lynn (Grandstaff) Wolfe.

He graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 2016. Marcus had been a roofer and worked with Shoemaker Construction in Warren. He was very adventurous and enjoyed climbing trees, exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, sitting around bonfires with family and friends, going to car races, collecting knifes and playing his X-box. He also liked to analyze the working of items and would disassemble them to see how they functioned and build other items.

He is survived by two loving parents Larry Wolfe, of Larwill and Tammy Wolfe, of Columbia City; sister, Caralyn Grandstaff; brothers, Jeremy Wolfe, Jason Wolfe and Samuel Wolfe; grandparents, Susan and Mike Butcher; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Bertha Wolfe and Dean Grandstaff.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. A memorial calling will take place between 1-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. His Big Brother, Pastor David Heim will be officiating.
