Margie Ann Coble

Margie Ann Coble, 80, of Columbia City, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Majestic Care West Allen. Born June 4, 1941 in Huntington, she was the daughter of Keith and Opal (Landrum) Wohlford.

Growing up in Bippus, Margie attended school in Huntington County. On July 12, 1958, she married Larry Lee Coble After marriage, they moved and purchased Larry's grandparents farm in rural South Whitley. She had been a nurse's aid at Timbercrest Senior Living before helping her husband operate, Coble Asphalt. After retiring in the early 2000's, they moved to Columbia City. She was a former member of the South Whitley Baptist Church.

Margie is survived by her children, Sally (Lloyd) Green, Roger Coble, Rex (Robyn) Coble, Kathy (Kevin) Ray; sister, Ester (Ron) Lancaster; brother, Dick (Carol) Wohlford; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2016, Larry Coble; and sister, Shirley Dick.

Visitation will be 11 to 12:45 pm Thursday, March 3, 2022 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Littlefield officiating. Burial will take place at South Whitley Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
