Mary Fern Prucinsky, age 72, of Albion, IN passed away at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.Born February 25, 1939 in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of Daniel Hobart and Selma (Anderson) Wolfe.
A lifetime resident of Noble County, and graduate of Albion High School, she lived in her present home for the past 26 years.Her first marriage was to Day Baugher from 1961-1974. Her second marriage was to Robert J. Prucinsky, from 1975-1995.A former employee of Essex Wire, Ligonier, she worked for many years at Star Craft Van, Goshen, where she retired. She formerly owned and operated Wood Inn Restaurant, Topeka.In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, knitting and the casinos.
Survivors include her sons, MarkA. (Carolyn) Prucinsky of Albion and Jeffrey A. (Loretta) Prucinsky of Omaha, NE; daughters, Laura J. (Ed) Hebb, Barbara J. (David) McCoy and Elizabeth Ann (Jim) Fisher all of Lancaster, OH; step-daughter, Linda (James) Baugher-Slater of Dunnellon, FL; step-sons, Edwin (Rebecca) Baugher of Richmond, VA and Dana (Debra) Baugher of Goshen; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene D. Wolfe of Huntertown; sister, Lenora Roos of Fort Wayne.She was preceded in death by her parents, first and second husbands, brothers, Melvin, Raymond J. and Gerald Wolfe; and longtime companion, Jim Honaker.
Visitation is Friday, May 13, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN.Funeral service is Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Sharon Brockhaus, Certified Funeral Celebrant, officiating.Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Prucinsky's memory to the donor's choice of charity.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Please visit
