Born in Jefferson Township, Whitley County, IN on August 1, 1917, she was the daughter of Lewis Frederick and Nora Minnie (Pequignot) Hine.She attended Jefferson Center High School, Jefferson Township, Whitley County, IN. From 1957 to 1970, she lived in Jefferson Township moving to Fort Wayne, IN for a brief time, and from 1970 to 2006, she lived at her Washington Township residence. On September 27, 1941, she was united in marriage to Truman William Zwick at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Roanoke, IN. An employee of General Electric for a brief time, she was a homemaker and member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church. She was also a former member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, Nix Settlement and former member of the rosary sodality at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.Survivors include sons, Stephen M. Zwick, 2502 Cobblestone Lane, Kendallville, IN 46755 (260-343-9039), Lowell T. Zwick, 2727 Chestnut, Fort Wayne, IN 46803 (260-424-0710) and Charles D. (Sharon) Zwick, 312 Indiana Avenue, Clarksburg, WV 26301 (304-622-1957); daughters, Marilyn A. Keeler, 240 E Essex Lane, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 (260-484-9806) and Dorothy E. (David) Burkhart of Winona Lake, IN; 6 grandchildren, Chadwick W. and Brian E. Burkhart, Melissa R. Shepherd, Anthony J. and Christopher M. Zwick, and Lisa Tomlinson and great-granddaughter, Kayla Tomlinson; brothers, Ralph (Ruth) Hine and Paul (Alberta) Hine both of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters, Louise Teusch of Huntington, IN, Helen (Leon) Guillaume of Fort Wayne, IN and Marcella Palmer of Fort Wayne, IN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Merrill, Christine McPherson and Edna Saurers, granddaughters, Amy Pattee and Rachel Burkhart.Visitation is 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. Funeral mass is 10 a.m. with 1 hour of calling prior to service on Friday, July 27, 2007 at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 315 S Line Street, Columbia City with Father Larry Kramer officiating. Burial at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorial bequests may be given in memory of Mrs. Zwick to masses or Kosciusko County Hospice.
