Masayo Debbie Clark, age 75, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at her home. Born on July 25, 1932 in Yokohama, Japan she was the daughter of Otsuo and Shen Nakamura.
Her schooling was completed in Japan and on February 9, 1954 she was united in marriage to A.A. Lon Clark in Yokohama, Japan. After her marriage she moved to Indiana where she settled in the Plainfield and then Mooresville areas. In 1969 she moved to Whitley County living in the area until 1975 when she moved to Morgantown, KY where she lived until 2007 when she and her husband located to Columbia City. She spent the majority of her life as a homemaker and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, A.A. Lon Clark; daughters, Melissa (Matt) Hile of Columbia City and Marsha (Frankie) Dockery of Hebron, KY; 2 sisters, Kazuyo Suzuki and Kaiko Nakamura and a brother, Teru Nakamura all of Yokohama, Japan; 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; and 3 great-grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond E. Clark and 2 brothers, Yatsuo and Yukagi Nakamura.
Funeral service is at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN with Certified Funeral Celebrants Eddie Beagles, CFC and Sharon Brockhaus, CFC officiating.
