MEGAN RENEE LEE

June 5, 1979 — October 8, 2012

Megan Renee Lee, age 33, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away at 4:10 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at her home.Born June 5, 1979 in Columbia City, IN, she was the daughter of Michael Kent and Linda Lou (McClure) Coulter.

A lifetime resident of Columbia City and Fort Wayne, she graduated with the Class of 1997 from Columbia City High School.She completed her education graduating from Indiana University and Indiana Purdue University earning a Master's degree in social work. On January 10, 2009, she married Bryan D. Lee in Fort Wayne. She worked as a social worker and grief counselor for four years at Heartland Hospice, Fort Wayne. She was a co-founder of Ribbon Chicks Inc. for Breast Cancer.

Survivors include her husband, Bryan D. Lee of Fort Wayne; son, Gage Lee of Fort Wayne; mother and companion, Linda Lou Coulter and Art Miller of Columbia City; maternal grandmother, Patsy McClure of Columbia City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur & Theresa Lee of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Chad (Amy) Lee of Fort Wayne; and nephew, Jordan Coulter of Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Kent Coulter, brother, Scott Edward Coulter, and grandfather, Edward McClure.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Union Township Cemetery, Coesse. Memorials may be given in Megan's memory to Heartland Hospice, Ribbon Chicks Inc. for Breast Cancer or Gage Lee Trust.
