Michael Joseph Filip

Michael Joseph Filip, infant son of Shawn and Amber Filip of Columbia City, IN, was stillborn on Wednesday November 6, 2024, at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne. 

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his siblings, Gabriel J. Filip, Noel R. Mourey, Eva L. Mourey, Danica M. Filip, Kenyon D. Filip, Dawson D. Filip, and Dillion M. Filip; maternal grandfather William Charles Harpenau; aunts Brittney (Austin) Hartman, Cortney Harpenau, and Ashley (Alex) Warran; uncles Jeremy Filip and Brad (Kelly) Malcolm.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Michael A. Filip and Linda M. Filip and maternal grandmother Beth A. Rawles.

Funeral services for Michael will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday November 13, 2024, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 315 South Line Street, Columbia City.

Burial in St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Cemetery, Columbia City, with fellowship to follow at the Deacon Joe Zickgraf Parrish Hall.

Memorial contributions in memory of Michael may be made to DeMoney Grimes towards final expenses.
