Nadine M. Orr

Nadine M. Orr, age 98, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 2:16 am on Wednesday July 31, 2024, at Miller’s at Oak Pointe, Columbia City. Born on February 18, 1926, in Oil Trough, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Willie W. and Bessie (Williams) Wallace.

Nadine attended local schools and worked for many years as a dishwasher at S&L Truckstop until her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed flowers and gardening in her free time.

Survivors include her children William (Cynthia) Orr, Shirley Gentry, John (Kathy) Orr, and Billy (Mary) Orr, all of Columbia City, Barbara Boyd of Garrett, and Bonnie Trahin of Huntertown; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Lonnie Orr, grandson Kevin Coffelt, grandsons Owen Krider and Kane Kinley.

Funeral service for Nadine will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday August 5, 2024, at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service.

Burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
