Nancy Carol Lundquist

Nancy Carol Lundquist, 79, of Columbia City, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at home with her husband by her side. Born September 11, 1944, in Shelby, Michigan she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Alta (Krager) Fisk. 

She graduated from Whitehall High School with the Class of 1962. On, February 24, 1968, in Montague, Michigan she married Kenneth Lundquist. After she and Ken married they lived briefly in Muskegon Heights and Whitehall before building a home in Montague to raise their family. In 1983, employment took them to Westville, Indiana and then to Columbia City in 1986, where they remained.

Through the years Nancy supplemented her primary job of wife and mother with outside jobs. Owning a ceramic studio was probably her favorite, but nothing compared to keeping her family happy. She took great pride in her crocheting and quilting, and created several gifts her family will cherish.

Being devoted to her family, they have fond memories of bicycle rides with picnics, gardening, Frisbee, crafts, music, Girl Scout camps and cycling races.....all with love. That love just grew when her grandchildren arrived. She loved spending time with them and spoiling them. She excelled at grammar and math, which she also enjoyed helping the grand's with and making them poor man cookies. We all will remember her "Little Piggy" stories with a smile.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Ken L. Lundquist; children, Liane M. Lundquist-Minier and Ken L. (Lisa) Lundquist, II; grandchildren, Macie (Ryan) Minier-Byle, Allison (Chase Clifford) Minier, Lucas Minier, Kyle Lundquist and Connor Lundquist; siblings, Linda Pitts and David (Lori) Fisk; and several nieces and nephews.
