Patricia A. Horn, 74, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her residence. Born on January 3, 1938 in Warsaw, IN, she was the daughter of Maurice and Helen (Hively) Fancil.
She graduated from Warsaw High School and married Billy D. Horn on July 17, 1958 in Warsaw. Pat spent her lifetime in Warsaw, Fort Wayne and Columbia City. She first worked at Magnavox for 10 years, then was an assembler for Dana Corporation for 12 years and worked part-time for 15 years for Class Act Cleaners. She was a member of Warsaw Church of God.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Billy D. Horn, Columbia City; 5 children, Kimberlin (Robert) Sweet, Billy J. R. Horn, Chrisdeana (Howard) Welch all of Columbia City, Sonia (Christopher) Welch, and Deana (Sean) Roof, both of Fort Wayne. 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 4 brothers and sister, James Fancil and Don (Nancy) Fancil both of Fort Wayne, Maurice (Carol) Fancil, Largo, FL and Janice (Gene) Fisher, Fort Wayne. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Rocky and Maurice Horn, 1 daughter, Cynthia Horn and 1 sister, Peggy McClain.
Visitation is Sunday, July 15, 2012 from noon-2:00 p.m. with funeral service immediately following calling at 2:00 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.Sharon Brockhaus, Certified Funeral Celebrant, will officiate. Committal services with family and friends will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Horn to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
