Ralph Creech, 90, of Churubusco, Ind., passed away at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn. Born October 22, 1927 in Hazard, Ky., he was the son of Albert and Eliza (Jewel) Creech.
He attended school in Lee County, Ky. and in 1942 moved to Whitley County, Ind. to live near Collins and Churubusco. On December 18, 1948, he married Mable I. Trumbull. He worked at Wayne Feed Mill-Continental Grain in Fort Wayne for 40 years and Rosencran's in Collins for 20 years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mable Creech; sons, Randy (Anne) Creech, of Churubusco and Steve (Millie) Creech, of Auburn; daughter, Teresa (Gary) Price, of Fort Wayne; sisters, Dairs Johnson, of Tennessee and Lue (Paul) Tubbs, of Berne; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Duane Loe; brothers, Roy, Russell, Hal and Elmer Creech; and sisters, Grace Tubbs and Thelma Robinson.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Paul Tubbs will be officiating. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be given in his memory to the Cleveland Township Volunteer Fire Department. Visit
