Randy A. Walleske

Randy A. Walleske, age 64, of South Whitley, IN, passed away at 11:55 pm on Monday January 27, 2025, at his residence. Born on July 20, 1960, in Lebanon, IN, he was the son of Clarence and Kathline (Bussell) Walleske.

Randy has been a Whitley County resident since 1993. He was a groundskeeper for the State of Indiana at the U.S. 30 rest stop, east of Columbia City, for several years.

Randy was friendly and enjoyable to be around. He loved going to the library, going on van rides, watching television, soda pop, Skittles candy, and Halloween. In addition, Randy enjoyed outings going out to eat at McDonald’s, Hardee’s, Pizza Hut, and his favorite Burger King, and he liked listening to Elton John music. Other activities of interest to Randy were mowing the grass, taking walks, and just being outdoors.

Randy is survived by 3 siblings, many past and present caregivers, and friend and personal representative Kathy Greene.

He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle George Walleske.

Funeral services for Randy will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday February 6, 2025, at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling one hour prior to service.

Burial in South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley.
