Raymond E Alexander

Raymond Eugene Alexander, age 68, of Columbia City, IN,  passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Majestic Care of West Allen, Fort Wayne. Born August 31, 1951 in Leon, WV, he was the son of  Marion and Sylvia (Casto) Alexander .

Ray attended West Virginia Schools and graduated from Point Pleasant High School with the Class of 1969. Raymond worked as a transporter of manufactured housing .  He enjoyed working on cars, in addition to watching old westerns and news programs on television.

Raymond is survived by a daughter Audene (Keith) Kovach and son Paul Alexander, both of Columbia City; 2 grandchildren. Krista Alexander and Charles (Brittany) Rector; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Ruby Clark of Buffalo, WV; brother Melvin Alexander of Sydney, OH; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and four brothers.

In accordance with the wishes of Raymond, there will be no calling or services at this time. Arrangements by Demoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Memorial donations may be given in memory to his final expenses .
