Robert "Bob" Spice, 70, of Columbia City, Indiana passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at his farm house. Born on January 20, 1944 in Mishawaka, he was the son of Ray B. Spice and Leota M.(Weaver) Spice.
Bob was a long time resident of Mishawaka, even though he had lived in Michigan for a while and in Columbia City for the past 4 years. Bob had worked construction, building RV's and remodeling homes. He also was a foster parent to numerous children. In his free time, Bob had enjoyed riding motorcycles, being outdoors, mowing his lawn and remodeling homes.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Spice of Columbia City; sons, Matt (Erin) Duncan of Mish Mishawaka, John (Lisa) Spice of Constantine, MI, James (Ellen Engelman) Spice of Ligonier and Mark Spice of Jones, MI; daughter, Hannah Spice of Columbia City; brothers, Terry, Mike, Dustin and Rex Spice; sisters, Vickie Davies and Sharon Curtis; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Leota Spice and brothers, Don and Richard Spice.
