ROSALIE JOANN KELLEY

January 27, 1932 — February 8, 2014

Rosalie Joann Kelley, 82, died unexpectedly at 11:47 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, where she had been admitted early that evening. She was born on January 27, 1932 in Columbia City, the daughter of Timothy and Bessie (King) Bair.

She has spent her lifetime in Columbia City, attending Columbia City High School. She married Roger Eugene Kelley on November 24, 1956 at the Columbia City Church of the Nazarene. She retired as an assembler in 1999 from Dana Corporation, Columbia City after 25 years of service. She loved to garden and embroidery, but her true passion was sharing in the lives of her granddaughter and 2 great grandsons.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger E. Kelley, Columbia City; 2 daughters, Julie Kelley and Kimberly (Kevin) Paunovich both of Columbia City; 1 granddaughter, Katie (Matt) Gilbert and 2 great grandsons, Bredyn and Mason Gilbert and 1 sister, Lois Bridegam, Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Amy Jo Kelley, 8 brothers and sisters, Mildred Herron, Opal Cox, Pearl Cox, Ruby Cramer, Robert Bair, Sr., Donald Bair, Mary Garrard and Edith Bair.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Penny Mosher officiating.Burial will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery, Columbia City.
