Rosita Marie Kaminski

Rosita Marie Kaminski, 64, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away at 10:58 am on Saturday August 6, 2022, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.  Born on February 19, 1958 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Edwin and Rozella (Scheiber) Herbst.

Rosita attended Columbia City High School and she was a homemaker for the majority of her lifetime. On July 18, 1998, she married Michael Kaminski.  Rosita was a former member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.  She loved her grandchildren, gardening, planting flowers, being outdoors, and watching NASCAR.  Rosita was an avid Michigan Wolverines and Chicago Bears football fan.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Kaminski; stepchildren, Angie Kaminski, Greg Kaminski and Clayton (Wendy) Bills; grandchildren, Alyssa Snook, Blake Smith, Hayden Kaminski, Bonham Kaminski, Mack Bills and Vaeda Bills; brothers, Lance Herbst and Terry Herbst; many nieces and nephew; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with her parents, Rosita was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Kelly Bills and brother, Jim Herbst.

A private family service was held and Rosita was laid to rest at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Cemetery.
