Sean Roderick Wilcox

Sean R. Wilcox, 51, of Churubusco, Ind., passed away on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at his home. Born November 14, 1966 in Battle Creek, Mich., he was the son of Robert E. and Patricia L. (O'Connell) Wilcox.

Sean graduated Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1986, before serving his country in the Army National Guard for two years. Sean worked for local factories before being permanently disabled in 1996. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his early years, and more recently, playing his guitar and recording music with his son Johnathan.

Survivors include his son, Johnathan Wilcox; brothers, Corey (Michelle) Wilcox and Tim Wilcox; sister, Sue (Tom) Hosek; step-mother, Carolyn Wilcox; grandmother, Margaret Wallace; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Sean will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with visitation starting at 1p.m. Pastor Bill Mueller of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church will be officiating.
