Shari L. May

Shari L. May, 68 , of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her home. Born June 12, 1955 in Portland, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Wayne E. and Juanita F. (Haggard) May.

While growing up in the Farmland/Parker City area of Randolph County, Shari was involved with GAA sports, played basketball, and was a Cheer Block Captain and the editor of her high school year book. She graduated from Monroe Central High School with the Class of 1973 and received her Bachelor's Degree from Ball State University. Shari worked for PNC Bank in Churubusco for 17 years, retiring in 2017. She also drove bus for the city of Indianapolis for five years. Shari enjoyed watching sports and was a Colts football fan. She loved traveling with her wife around the world, especially throughout the US, Europe, Scotland and England.

Along with her parents, Shari was preceded in death by her loving wife and best friend of over 40 years, Faye (Cunningham) Webb in 2021. She is survived her "kids", Michelle "Micci" (Dan) Becker and Kimberly Giamportone; grandchildren, Pierce and Sage Giamportone and Jessica and Joseph (Cece) Becker; great-grandson, Dale; sisters, Jan (Mick) Phelps and Jill (Joe) Phelps; brother, Cris (Roxann) May; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. Shari and Faye will be laid to rest at Grove Methodist Cemetery in West Chester, PA.
