Teddy E. Bell

Teddy E. Bell, 87, of Columbia City, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Miller's Merry Manor.

He was born November 2, 1933 in Colombia City graduated from Washington Twp. High School with the Class of 1953. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1953 until 1961. Teddy worked over 30 years for Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire and retired in 1988. He was a member of Columbia City Church of the Brethren and Korean War Vets.

Teddy is survived by his beloved dog, Sally and many friends and was preceded in death by his mother, Philletta (Weatherby) Bell; and a sister, Frances Joan Bell.

Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Face masks are required for attendance. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Chapel (Sand Bank) Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Beckner officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the Whitley County Korean War Veteran’s Honor Guard.
