Tim D. Mishler

Tim D. Mishler, age 72, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 9:09 am on Friday July 21, 2023, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City. Born on March 6, 1951, in Huntington, he was the son of Daniel and Jean (Jenkins) Mishler.

Tim attended South Whitley High School and then became an electrician while working for Northeastern REMC.  He later transitioned into the Engineering Department. Tim absolutely loved his job and wound up being the longest active working employee with nearly 46 years of service.

Tim enjoyed riding his Harley, caring for his yard and spending time with his friends, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters Heather (Derek) Cody of South Whitley and Autumn Mishler of Camby; grandchildren, Arissa Cody, Brooklyn Cody and Shay Mishler; siblings Mark Mishler of Phoenix, AZ, Tony Mishler of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Barb Wolf of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Ginger Mishler, son Rodney Mishler, and wife Billie Mishler.

Friends may call on Wednesday July 26, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Funeral services for Tim will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday July 27, 2023, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.

Memorial contributions in memory of Tim may be made to Whitley County Humane Society.
