Tina Nickolson

Tina Lee Nickolson, age 54, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 9:26 pm on Sunday October 11, 2020 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.  Born on October 9, 1966 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of William and Peggy (Sprinkle) Royal.

Tina attended Snider High School and was a very loving homemaker for her family.  She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and pull-tabs.  Tina loved collecting anything that was Mickey Mouse, eating Hershey and Reese’s candy, and most importantly spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Sherri Royal, Kassie Nickolson, Corey Nickolson, and Brittnay Nickolson, all of Fort wayne, and April Equite of Indianapolis; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.; siblings Judi Weeks, Carlos Royal, Mike Royal, Rick Royal, and Paula Drifke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Brian Royal, sisters Kathy Helmke and Vicki Ryckman, and three grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday October 26, 2020 from 10:00-12:00 at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

A memorial service for Tina will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be given in memory of Tina to her final expenses.
