Trinket Lynn Lee

July 1, 1974 — December 6, 2017

When reflecting on the life of Trinket Lee, words such as kind, loving, and strong willed come to mind, however, the word that paints the most vivid picture of her is genuine. She passionately gave of her time and resources to the family she adored and lived her life to the fullest. A loving mother, a positive light in the lives of many, and a strong role model to many, Trinket will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Trinkets story began in 1974, a time that was just as vibrant as she was! Music continued to make a significant impact with Don Williams on the top of the country charts. Amidst this exciting time, Edward and Mary Ann (Hempstead) Meyers were pleased to announce the birth of their newborn baby girl, Trinket Lynn born July 1st in Youngstown, Ohio.

As a child and young adult, Trinket loved riding horses. Always having a love for different animals, including Mazie the dog and Mr. Kitty pants, Trinket enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and deer in addition to donating to the animal shelter. Later Trinket came to enjoy time at the lake and traveling regularly to Florida and Las Vegas, where one of her greatest accomplishments was hiking a red rock canyon for the first time. Trinket attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Youngstown and graduated with the Class of 1992. She also attended Brown Mackie College.

Trinket proudly served her country in the U. S. Army as a mechanic and was stationed in Korea. While in boot camp her big smile regularly got her into trouble when she was lined up in formation. The drill sergeant would notice and order her to do pushups, but when she finished her smile was still there!

Trinket found her passion in her family. She cherished her years as a mom. One clear memory that Morgan and Cortnee share is that of their trips to the store, which involved a pep talk and ended with a stern look.

Another of her favorite traditions included watching, White Christmas and other Hallmark Channel movies during the holidays. Described as compassionate and loving, Trinket leaves behind a wonderful collection of memories for her family and friends to cherish for years to come. In her free time Trinket kept tabs on her favorite sports team, Alabama, when she wasnt reading gothic or romance novels. Trinket was a supervisor at Guardian Industries in Ligionier for 15 years and had most recently been a supervisor at FXI in Auburn.

True to her heart, Trinket was a do what makes you happy kind of woman with a very strong work ethic, proud that she never had to miss work. She will never be forgotten by those closest to her.
